Welcome to This Week’s Scoop
Per usual, this issue of The Scoop shares a variety stories from across the 99 Spoons network — more operators securing new locations, some challenges faced, installing machines, and continuing to build solid, sustainable vending businesses.
Here’s what’s been happening lately. 👇
🎳 Ted S. — Lake Bowl (Moses Lake, WA)
Our newest Direct-to-Business operator, Ted, owner of Lake Bowl, is integrating a 99 Spoons kiosk right inside his own venue — proof that existing businesses can expand effortlessly and take advantage of the limited labor with automated soft serve.
📍 About the Location
- 24 bowling lanes, restaurant & bar, arcade, and regular leagues & events
- Located on Broadway Avenue in Moses Lake’s entertainment district
- Consistent family, league, and corporate traffic year-round
✅ Why It Works
Lake Bowl is a perfect showcase for the Direct-to-Business Program — no staffing, no mess, and new revenue on top of existing food & beverage sales.

🏨 Lois B.— Cambria LAX Airport Hotel (Los Angeles, CA)
Lois B recently secured the Cambria Hotel LAX through a third-party location procurement company recommended by 99 Spoons, adding another high-profile hospitality site to the growing 99 Spoons footprint in So-Cal.
📍 About the Location
- 152-room upscale hotel catering to airport travelers & airline staff
- Just 1 mile from LAX (~85% average occupancy)
- On-site restaurant, lounge & rooftop pool area — ideal for grab-and-go dessert sales
✅ Why It Works
Airport hotels offer strong, predictable foot traffic and around-the-clock guest demand. New customers in and out every day! Lois’s install will bring soft serve to guests and staff alike 24/7.

🎯 Pauleka C. — Big Play Entertainment (Dunwoody, GA)
Pauleka locked in Big Play Entertainment, an action-packed arcade and family fun center in Dunwoody, Georgia — secured through a third-party location service.
📍 About the Location
- Large‐scale indoor entertainment center with bowling, laser tag, mini-golf & arcade attractions.
- Hosts birthday parties, events & corporate outings weekly.
- Estimated 400,000+ annual visitors.
- Address (from the website): 2480 Mt Vernon Rd., Dunwoody, GA 30338.
- Features: Over 100 games in the arcade, VR/mixed-reality experiences, full-service restaurant & sports bar.
✅ Why It Works
Entertainment venues like this are natural fits for soft-serve vending — constant flow of families, strong impulse-purchase potential, guests already in the mood for fun and snacks.
But this story is also about perseverance. Pauleka has been with us from the early days, and like any vending operator, she’s faced challenges finding the right location and driving consistent sales. That’s part of the vending game — some spots just don’t perform the way we hope.
The difference is, Pauleka stayed in it, kept moving forward, and now she’s seeing progress. That’s exactly why this business model works — you can relocate, relaunch, and turn things around, something traditional brick-and-mortar owners can’t easily do.

🏖 Jeremy F. — WorldMark Resort (St. George, UT)
Jeremy just signed up WorldMark St. George Resort, a family-friendly timeshare property secured via the 99 Spoons national locations marketing program and offered FREE of charge and right in Jeremy’s backyard.

📌 Closing Notes
To close — every week, it genuinely gives our team a real sense of pride to see so many operators securing new locations, lining up installs, and growing their vending businesses. We don’t seem to be running out of new stories, thankfully.
The progress across the network is incredible. Thank you all for the continued support, hard work, and patience. We’re not perfect, but we’re putting in the effort for each and every one of you.
